12 months ago I started writing and illustrating letters and sending them all over the world. 💌

These are just a selection if the illustrations from these letters. As you can see the subject matter is wide and varied but themes of nature and small pleasures are the most frequent topics. There is something relaxing about drawing these each month. This sketchy style is one I’ve drawn in since teenage hood and it feels really good to carry it with me and to feature it so prominently in a project like this.

“The Whimsy Way” letter club has just celebrated its one year anniversary. And I have no plans to stop yet. Its monthly rhythm has been so enjoyable, and I’m so pleased it’s been found likewise for its readers. Thank you to all who have been part of it for a short time, long or ongoing. It has been incredible to have you along! 💕
