This is now my standard house stock that I will keep for any 'just in case' scenarios. The key to making this work successfully and ensuring no food waste, is stock rotation and replacing when used. Being prepared is not about stockpiling or panic buying, it is about being sensible and looking after yourself. It isn't about following 'guidelines' but about knowing that if for any reason you cannot get out to the shops you will be able to feed your family for a period of time without relying on anyone else. #beprepared #foodstock #restock #feedingthefamily

😍👇 📌 ‪@cook.mag‬
ON THIS DAY: Christ the Redeemer marks 95 years overlooking Rio de Janeiro. The iconic statue of Jesus Christ was inaugurated on October 12, 1931, following years of construction atop Brazil's Mount Corcovado. Designed by Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa with contributions from French sculptor Paul Landowski and Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida, the monument rises 98 feet above its pedestal and has become one of the world's most celebrated Christian landmarks.
