A bad reputation?

According to whom, exactly?

The people who know me from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.?

The ones who feel powerful only when they’re putting someone else down?

Or the ones who smile to your face, convinced no one notices their hypocrisy?

Or that crowd who tear each other apart in private, then post about “the best friendships” online?

Or maybe people whose faces I wouldn’t recognize and whose names I’ve never heard?

Please.

I don’t lose sleep over opinions coming from rooms I never wanted to belong to.
