Bear with me as I humor myself by running through my Wildwood timeline… or skip on by for just the fun moving stuff! • July, 2012: I visit Portland for the first time as an advertising intern and set a completely new and unrelated life goal: work on a Laika movie. I develop my skillz over the next several years to make it happen. • Nov, 2019: It happens! I move to Portland and join the Laika animation team. • Aug, 2020: R&D commences for Wildwood • Oct, 2020: 2-year Pinocchio side quest • Aug, 2022: Rejoin Laika & begin production on Wildwood • Dec, 2025: Principal production finishes, ending my accumulative 3.5 years of working on the project And now, tomorrow, over 6 years from when I first began to wrap my head around bringing some of these characters to life (and completing a 14-year personal odyssey), the world finally gets a chance to see exactly that. Multiply my experience by a thousand other makers & movers and that’ll give you a rough idea of exactly how much effort, care, and aspiration went into making this crazy film—many for even longer. It’s been one hell of a journey that frankly may never happen again to quite this scale. Anyway, here’s a compilation of some of my shots in Wildwood’s trailers and various promos that have been released up until this point (and a terrific poster by @sanjaycreates). It would be pretty damn cool if you went out and saw it all in its intended context and full cinematic glory ✌️

From exploring the underwater marvels of Vamizi to speaking up for them, and our oceans in SoCal. 🌊 An evening of blue-planet love, familiar faces, art & advocacy. Grateful to have shared a few words at Oceana’s event last week, surrounded by some of my favorite humans working, investing in, and protecting our waters. 💙 @oceana Photo cred 📷 Brad Kern ——— #OOTDEdit for las chicas: Wearing @blancpain1735 pieces (yep, 2 on the same wrist. Chlorine is not a personality trait. 🩵✨ Okay real talk — I love my swim sessions but my hair after? A whole SITUATION. That stiff, dry, chlorine-soaked feeling was seriously making me dread the rinse-off part of my workout. Like I'd spend 45 minutes in the pool feeling amazing and then ruin it all with a mediocre post-swim routine. Not anymore!! I found @sooo.lab and their SOOO Swim Shampoo and honestly?? It's the K-beauty swim care product I didn't know I was missing my entire life. It's specifically made for swimmers — like actually formulated to wash away chlorine residue and that lingering pool smell while leaving your hair and scalp feeling SO clean and comfortable. Not stripped, not crunchy — actually soft and refreshed. 🤍 The scent alone is giving luxurious Korean spa energy and I am HERE for it. This is officially a non-negotiable part of my post-swim self-care ritual now. Consider this your sign to upgrade your after-swim routine, babe! 🩵✨ Link in bio + posting the link in stories! Have you tried K-beauty swim care yet? Drop a 🩵 below if you're a swimmer who needs this in their life ASAP! #SOOO #SOOOSwimCare #swimshampoo #ChlorineCare #SwimmingLife #ad #kbeauty @sooo.lab_us
