When you service a lot of boutique rotary mixers and enjoy macro photography, there is a whole new world to discover hiding in plain sight.
At first appearance with the knobs still on, the surface just appears dusty. Remove the knobs and add intense side lighting to discover a completely hidden ecosystem.
This particular E&S DJR400 rotary mixer was on my workbench for a full service and maintenance. Wait until you see the mysterious creature living under the potentiometers knobs.
Is it time to deep-clean your gear Let me know what you think this critter is in the comments! 👇
