SWIPE ⏩️ The NYC Marathon five-borough course turns 50 this year. 🗽

On October 24, 1976 the race left Central Park and ran through all five boroughs for the first time. This year brings a bigger medal, a new loop in the Bronx (first course change in 15 years), and new rules for getting to the start.

I put everything in one place: expo, race week, start waves, every borough, the finish, and my best tips.

And this one is personal. NYC is my hometown, and it’s my first marathon back after double knee surgery. 🥹

🔁 Share this post with that runner friend running the @nycmarathon this year.

#voxnetizens
