#LoveTheVerb
By @kaapoetix

I love me more
Than I've loved myself

Tethered to worth
Lends truth to wealth
I'm more than just
My self.
In sickness
& in health.

Love's a verb.
I learnt the word.
To know why
I'm telling it to myself:

You're more than good,
Not limited to what you feel.
A being becoming,
Purposeful in self.

Life's a giving.
You've been given.
Give back.

You are who you are
& not defined by what lacks.

Be thoughtful
When emotions run off track
Thoughts are yours.
You're not your thoughts.
