Today was something special.
The Wall That Heals made its way into Star Valley today with an incredible motorcade from Alpine to Afton. Seeing so many people line the roads to welcome it was a powerful reminder that service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
This traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be at Star Valley Middle School this week, giving our community a chance to honor those who served, reflect on the cost of freedom, and remember the names and stories behind the memorial.
If you have the opportunity, I highly encourage you to stop by. Whether you have a personal connection to the Vietnam War or simply want to pay your respects, it’s a moving experience and one worth taking the time to see.
Thank you to everyone who helped bring this meaningful tribute to Star Valley, and especially to our Vietnam veterans. We are grateful for your service. #wyoming #vietnam #veteran #starvalley #starvalleywyoming
