My talented sister, principal of Bais Rivka, quoted my father in her message to this year's 8th grade graduates.
And since we have an eighth grader of our own, we heard it firsthand.
She quoted him saying: "What would the Rebbe want?"
It's something my father has been making us aware of for years. Before you do something, ask: what would the Rebbe want?
Those words landed. And then they followed me straight into Week 1 of Game City.
The Rebbe always asked for abundance. Always the most. Always beautiful.
This week, I watched that philosophy come alive in real time. Every activity. Every smile. Every kid who walked in unsure and walked out lit up. That's intention, pure and simple.
And it's the exact thing I teach my coaches at ICT: what you focus on expands.
We focused on making it unforgettable. So it was.
One week down. The Rebbe would be proud.
