I’ll be tired, but I’ll still fight.

As much as I can, I try to come on here and show a brave face. I’ve shared the lows with a smile despite the physical, mental, on and off-track battles that come with chasing this dream.

But today has really been a tough one.

A different tyre strategy put us on the back foot in qualifying, but I was still really happy with the steps forward in my driving. In Race 1, I was fighting inside the Top 20 on the opening lap when a driver lost control and came into the back of me.

I tried my best to avoid him by taking a wider line, but unfortunately nothing more I could do. The impact left us with significant damage, with the pushrod piercing through the gearbox… meaning we won’t be able to race in the Sprint this afternoon. :((

A double DNF from things out of my control, after working so, so hard to be here.

I love what I do and I’m proud of how far we’ve come, but moments like this are still heartbreaking.

Today hurts. Tomorrow, we fight again. ❤️‍🩹🇵🇭

Bensan hinnasta. Pumpulla moni pysähtyy ihmettelemään, miten nämä hinnat näin nousivat. Syyt ja syylliset löytyvät Lähi-idästä. Mutta ei se suomalaista lohduta, tieto siitä mistä tämä johtuu. Töihin olisi päästävä. Yrittäjän pitäisi pystyä tilaukset toimittamaan.

Helppoja ratkaisuja ei oikein ole. Sellaisia, jotka näkyisivät selkeästi pumppuhinnoissa, ja näkyisivät pian.

Mutta luovuttaminen ei kuulu tyyliini. Kaikki keinot on käytettävä, ja jos keinoja ei vielä ole, ne etsitään.

Me hallituksessa teemme kaikkemme ratkaisujen löytämiseksi. Pientäkin helpotusta ihmisen arkeen ja yritysten toimintaan. Jokainen keino arvioidaan. Suomalaisten on voitava luottaa, että ongelma ymmärretään.

Palaan asiaan. Kokoomus on valmis etsimään keinot tilanteen helpottamiseksi.
