I posted the 2nd pic of a dozen 5-lb+ bass just feet from my kayak just so everyone realizes that it's not just my fishing skill alone that allowed me to catch 173 largemouth bass on Sunday......with at least 25 of those 20" or larger. This secret spot is as close to a 'trout pond' experience as you'll have in Michigan. I would have a giant bass on and 10 other giant bass would be following it trying to take the lure out of its mouth. I had one instance when 8 casts straight yielded a bass over 15" and another instance when I caught two giant bass on the same cast.
