the image that has been living in my head lately is jin casually walking into a crowd holding a little sign that simply said โbts โก army.โ no cameras needed to tell him to do it. no grand speech. just him choosing, once again, to remind us that wherever bts goes, army goes too and then as if that wasnโt enough they gave us an entire oreo campaign with little messages hidden inside turning something as ordinary as opening a biscuit into another reminder that they think about us in places weโd never expect. thatโs what always amazes me. they never wait for anniversaries to tell us they love us.
they tell us in lyrics.
in lives.
in letters.
in tiny handwritten notes.
in concerts that somehow end with seven men crying because they donโt want to leave us.
theyโve never made army feel like people standing outside looking in. theyโve always pulled us into the story with them. every achievement has been โours.โ every dream has been โours.โ every chapter has been โoursโ and thatโs why this fandom has become so much more than a fandom. because of bangtan, i found people who became family. people iโve laughed with, cried with, celebrated with, travelled with, collected memories with. people i wouldโve never met if seven boys from korea hadnโt decided to share their music with the world. army has given me friendships iโll carry for the rest of my life and i donโt think iโll ever be able to put into words how grateful i am for that.
