Ok moms, we’re not broken, but we might be unstable after a C-section (yes, even years and decades later)💛
.
Maybe you’ve noticed this too? It make sense when you think about the disruption to the connective tissue along the midline to make way for baby’s exit 🫶 Follow @madeline_moves and let’s get even stronger with this approach 🤝
.
A C-section causes disruption to the core’s layers and as a result can leave your linea alba and deep core system needing specific retraining. These cross-body moves rebuild the connection between your core, opposite inner thigh, and pelvic floor
.
Try 3 rounds:
10 bench-assisted single-leg crossbody presses
10 contralateral leg raises
10 dumbbell woodchops
10 single-leg sit-to-stands with a pillow or ball between your legs
.
PSA: these muscle systems are used in all of our daily life and beneficial to EVERYONE to train, there just might need a little extra attention after surgery to restore function and here’s how—
.
Like the post ❤️ and Comment “CROSSBODY” and I’m happy to send more info on this if you want to ensure your training represents this!
.
📣📣 And if you’re doing the fall challenge (sign ups end Thursday ⏰), we had so much today from rotational presses to cross body chops to single leg stability and Contralateral deadbugs 💪🏼 what did I miss?

Teddy graham brittle cookies🧸🧈🍪

I’m not sure if this counts as “cute groceries” but here it is anyway. I don’t remember buying these but I was too attached to throw them out. I was “saving then for a rainy day” and I guess that day finally came

I have so many more ideas so stay tuned for the next episode

Inspired by @constellationinspiration ‘s goldfish cookies

Ingredients:
Honey Teddy Graham Brittle
- 100g Honey Teddy Grahams
- 56g unsalted butter
- 100g light brown sugar
- 2g flaky sea salt
Cinnamon Honey Cookies
- 113g unsalted butter
- 90g light brown sugar
- 25g granulated sugar
- 25g honey
- 18g egg yolk
- 5g vanilla extract
- 155g all-purpose flour
- 2.5g baking soda
- 3g kosher salt
- 1g ground cinnamon

Instructions:
1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the Teddy Grahams in a single, tightly packed layer.
2. Melt the butter and brown sugar together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the mixture is smooth and bubbling.
3. Allow the mixture to bubble gently, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened.
4. Immediately pour the hot butter and sugar mixture evenly over the Teddy Grahams, spreading gently to coat.
5. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and transfer the tray to the freezer until completely hardened.
6. Once firm, break the brittle into irregular chunks and set aside for topping the cookies.
7. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until golden brown and nutty. Transfer to the KitchenAid mixing bowl and allow to cool slightly.
8. Using the paddle attachment, beat the browned butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and honey on medium speed until combined.
9. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
10. Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix on low speed until just combined, being careful not to overmix. (CONTINUED IN COMMENTS)
