Terraria you can complete everything IF YOU JUST TALK TO THE DAMN NPCS THAT NOBODY DOES FOR WHATEVER REASON AT ALL! It’ll take a while but the game is an EXPLORATION SURVIVAL RPG!!! A lot of the NPCs will tell you something that hints towards a boss or location (mainly NPCs found in the world).

I have like over 500 hours on terraria and tmod, I dont think I've played the game once without the wiki open, sure I dont really need it for acquiring items but I am pretty much just getting my builds from it

If i could beat terraria at the age of 7 without knowing anything about wikis, i think anybody can. Guides just make it efficient

There's a guide but also I reckon there does need to be a bit of a checklist in the vanilla stuff. But the achievements at the top of the screen help if you're not an ign "gamer"

Terraria is only wikislop if you are doing something specific, it has a built in drop table through bestiary and the guide. Alsoto simply beat terraria, you can simply use what you have instead basing your build on something you gound on a guide. Terraria does not recquire a wiki to beat.

Personally I've been playing the game for many years and recently coming back to it i was happy to open the wiki and figure things out, i never understood the hate, i guess it's only when players are learning, i was learning the game at age of like 12 years old, so i guess it was different, it doesn't annoy me even with all the new things in the game, why? Because i am excited to look at the things they fixed apart from my beloved 1.3.5.3 version i played the longest of all, the differences are massive and i still like the game we have today unlike Minecraft for some reason which I've played for even longer and I don't like the new Minecraft, i will just stick to playing the old ones 1.7.10 to 1.12.2 with mods like i always did
