In July, Arctic terns fill Iceland’s coastlines 🐦
They arrive here in spring to nest and raise their chicks during the brightest weeks of the year.
Later in summer, they will begin one of the longest migrations in the animal kingdom, travelling from the Arctic all the way to Antarctica.
For now, the long daylight and coastal cliffs of Iceland are part of that journey.
