🏆 Best Supporting Actor | Micro Movies | FICIMAD 2026
Guillermo Calero & Alberto Conde
Piso Bro
Congratulations to Guillermo Calero and Alberto Conde, recipients of the Best Supporting Actor Award at FICIMAD 2026 for their brilliantly synchronized performances in Piso Bro.
Set against Madrid's housing crisis, Piso Bro follows two estate agents attempting to sell an impossibly overpriced apartment by transforming every obvious flaw into an irresistible selling point. Through sharp satire and intelligent comedy, the film exposes the absurdities of real estate speculation and the persuasive power of commercial language, offering an entertaining yet incisive reflection on one of the defining social issues affecting younger generations today.
Guillermo Calero and Alberto Conde form an outstanding on-screen partnership, creating a comic dynamic built on impeccable timing, expressive precision, and complete commitment to the film's satirical tone. Conde brings confidence, experience, and charismatic irony to the seasoned salesman, while Calero perfectly balances the performance as the newcomer, gradually discovering the surreal logic of the profession. Together, they elevate every exchange, finding humor without sacrificing the truth that lies beneath the comedy.
Both actors arrive at the screen with strong theatrical backgrounds. Guillermo Calero, a graduate of Madrid's RESAD, has performed at prestigious international festivals in Spain, Portugal, Russia, Colombia, and Argentina, collaborating with acclaimed director José Luis Alonso de Santos. Alberto Conde, also trained at RESAD, has combined classical theatre with television and film work, appearing in productions for Teatros del Canal, the Festival Internacional de Teatro Clásico de Mérida, and El secreto de Puente Viejo. Their stage experience is evident in the precision, rhythm, and natural chemistry that make Piso Bro so engaging.
With wit, intelligence, and exceptional comic performances, Guillermo Calero and Alberto Conde transform satire into something both hilarious and deeply recognizable, making them thoroughly deserving winners of this year's award.
