It’s my best friends 22nd birthday 🫶🏻

I used to think everyone was full of it when they would say “soulmates don’t have to be romantic”. I remember thinking they’d lost their minds, but really I just hadn’t had that person in my life yet. And then Madi appeared.

From the moment we met we were inseparable. No literally, I don’t think you saw one without the other our entire freshman year. Anyone that knows me, has known me, or has even had a single conversation with me knows about Madi. She’s the definition of my long lost twin, twin flame, platonic soulmate, and the best friend I could ever wish for.

This birthday marks 5 years of friendship and boy have we lived through a lot. From our first year of college to living together. Roommates from hell, our first ever car accident, road-trips across Florida, holding each-others hair back after a frat party or tailgate. Never ending trips to TJMaxx, sharing 7Brew orders, losses and heartbreaks, and who knows how many hours spent on Facetime catching up on gossip or crafting together. Fast forward 5 years later and now we’re talking about wedding plans. But I couldn’t imagine living through all of these experiences and life changes with anyone else by my side.
