Concept:

Faced with the ever present lingering awareness of a gap between the self and the present moment, experiencing the existence of the endless pursuit of belonging, inevitably yearning for a sense of home. We painstakingly attempt to make sense of time; to encapsulate it. What is more desirable that to not only consume, but to own, time itself? As we consume, we curate, allowing the objects around us to define us, forming a symbiotic relationship between us, the animate, and objects, the inanimate.

They seep into our deepest being and encapsulate the memories of the past, possessing with their seemingly immortal energy. Within them, the potential to awaken intensity; to encapsulate stories of the past and reveal wisdom. Simultaneously acting as a reminder of the passage of time, of the fleeting thought that a moment can never be relived, and a proof of the transcendence of time, carrying with them the scratches and dents of a thousand memories. They live not only with us, but through us. Listen closely, and the objects around you will share whispers of their wisdom, reminding us that strength is found through fragility, that we must not resist what happens to us; every scratch becomes part of our story. When we realise that the light we search for comes from within, we become sorcerers of atmosphere.
