This is how I taught Actaea to play disc! Keep in mind this progressed over a couple of weeks, not in just a few hours or days! More independent dogs or non-toy motivated dogs need time and patience to learn something that isn’t inherently natural or fun to them at first. Give your dog a lot of breaks and be very strict with only doing sessions for a few minutes. If your dog ever starts disengaging or getting too frustrated, stop and try again later! You want this game to be FUN not a chore.
