People expect a Moroccan girl to fit into a perfect box before marriage. They watch every single step and assume any freedom means you are not ready. Or that you do not respect tradition. Growing up in Morocco, weddings carry so much weight. Everyone has an opinion on how you should act. Moving here taught me that entering a new chapter does not mean losing who you are. You can honor your roots without hiding who you have become. #moroccan #🇲🇦 #arab #culture #dontjudge #moroccangirl

French President Emmanuel Macron has warned people who took part in riots not to "escalate" after a weekend of protests and disorder across the country. Some 550,000 demonstrators took to the streets for largely peaceful protests against rising fuel prices, the cost of living and deteriorating public services, including schools. Police have arrested about 2,400 people, according to France's interior ministry. Tap the link in @BBCNews's bio for more details on the protests. #France #BBCNews
