Dylan & Gwen of Winchester

Happy 5th birthday to my best girl! Every year on her birthday, I send Gwen’s breeder an update with photos and notes about her adventures. I often find myself reflecting on all the things she’s done over the last year. She’s such a character, a forever puppy loving life and meeting new people. Gwen’s full brother is a CH show dog, but she just enjoys sitting in a field and biting the heads off clover. To each her own I guess.

When we first got Gwen, she was the worst puppy on planet earth. Corgis are not beginner dogs, which she enjoyed reminding me everyday and she sprinted around our house and destroyed everything she possibly could. But she’s turned into a great little dog with a big heart and love for life. During this time where the world is on fire, she’s a balm. Such is the magic of Corgis. 💙
