Deep down, I know they’re only staring because it’s almost snack time. 😆

I just can’t thank this sweet community enough for the outpouring of kindness, love and encouragement regarding our dear Peanut. ❤️

Every morning, I check Peanut’s lymph nodes in his neck. Yesterday, they were enlarged and my boy refused food. The vet confirmed that the lymphoma has indeed come out of remission. After discussing various options, we decided to make Peanut comfortable with steroids. If we’re lucky, we’ll get a few more weeks with our sweet boy. We are absolutely devastated, even though we knew this was coming. There’s just never enough time. 😢

The wonderful folks from @laurasvillage asked us to come read, C is for Corgi, the book our family wrote and illustrated. We loved meeting everyone! Laura’s Village is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering adults with special needs. ❤️

At Reecie’s annual check up in August, the vet determined that Reecie might need some teeth removed. Today was the big day. Once the dr got in there and took X-rays, they discovered that he just needed a good cleaning. Look ma, no cavities! Reecie and his pearly whites are now taking a well earned nap.

The snack time stare down begins an hour before the actual event. Because, ya know, corgis.

Last day of chemo for Peanut! He was diagnosed with lymphoma in August 2025. After his first round of chemo, he was in remission for six months. His dr anticipates that he may not stay in remission that long after this second round, so we’re just going to make each day count. ❤️ A huge thank you to Dr. Uehlein and her team @wholepetdavidson for the amazing care they’ve given our boy over this past year. And a big thank you to everyone who has cheered Peanut on through this journey. Y’all are the best! ❤️

I recently took a weekend trip with some friends, and the corgis stuck by my side for a few days afterwards. Well, MOST of the corgis. To his credit, Reecie tried his best to be social. 🐾 Yes, Peanut is wearing a belly band. He’s been “marking” in the house recently, and we think it’s due to his age (13). I work nights now (decorating donuts!) so I can be home during the day to make sure he has plenty of bathroom breaks.
