@everesting on a Lyft Bike complete. It’s on @strava so you know it happened. Total time was just over 26 hours-the wind and traffic and physical challenge wore me down so I didn’t make it under 24 hours. Thanks to all the @fatcakeclub folks who joined me. More footage to come. You don’t need a fancy carbon road bike or clip-in shoes to do a crazy ride. Just a bit of willpower, a couple of friends, family, and a few helpful strangers along the way. @hummingbirdfuels helps too. I can’t say I don’t ride bikes a lot, I very much do. But this was my first time with over 24,000 ft elevation gain in a ride and only my second ride with over 20,000 ft gained.
