Moments like these remind us that preserving our history is about inspiring future generations to dream bigger, think differently, and leave their own mark.

I’ve been blessed to call Dr. Joanne Martin a mentor, and I will forever be grateful for the vision she shared with her late husband, Dr. Elmer P. Martin. Their vision gave Baltimore, Maryland, and our nation a priceless gift that will continue to educate, inspire, and challenge generations to come. Their legacy reminds us that the greatest investments we make are the ones that outlive us.
