Absolutely buzzing to celebrate my friend and training partner, Sarah‑Jane Nichols, on earning the 2026 National #1 plate. Watching her dedication, passion, and relentless drive has been nothing short of inspiring. She shows up, puts in the work, and refuses to settle for anything less than excellence.
I’m genuinely proud to call her my friend and to have been part of the journey. This achievement is fully deserved.

Well done SJ 👏

💚 GREEN AFTER MIDNIGHT — PART I 💚

Halloween has gone green. 🕷️

A wicked little gathering of artists, creatures, ghosts and beautiful nightmares — all brought together under one poisonous palette for our Green for Halloween Limelight Collaboration.

Thank you to every artist who joined me and brought their own strange little corner of Halloween into this collection. I absolutely love how different every submission is while still somehow belonging to the same eerie world.

This is only the beginning…

Part II coming straight after. 🖤💚

“The Price of Never Falling”
Oil on paper
2026
Leonardo Bassetti

This painting it’s for everyone who became strong
life never gave them another choice. For those who kept standing through loss, responsibility, and disappointment… until survival itself began taking pieces of who they used to be.

Sometimes strength isn’t a gift.

Sometimes it’s what remains after life has taken every softer part of you.

Traditional oil painting on A3 paper.

What did surviving cost you?
