During this trip to Egypt 🇪🇬, I had the good fortune to visit an Egypt’s newest and largest masjid - Masjid Misr, or the Grand Mosque 🕌 Guinness World Records: Tallest Wooden Minbar: Stands at roughly 16.5 to 16.6 meters high and is handcrafted from wood. Heaviest & Largest Chandelier: Features a massive multi-level central chandelier measuring 22 meters in diameter and weighing approximately 24,300 to 25 tons Quran House: The cultural center includes a 6,500-square-meter Quran House spanning 30 rooms, which houses a rare 80 kg Ottoman Quran written in Kufic script Massive Capacity: It can hold between 107,000 and 137,000 muslims across its indoor halls and expansive outdoor courtyards, making it the largest masjid in Egypt and one of the largest in Africa.

“So I’ll never be your lady And I’ll never be your girl Although I love you madly I’ll never be your pearl And when you come home at night It won’t be me It won’t be me who holds you tight And it makes me wanna cry, and wanna love And wanna die Because without you nothing’s right So I’ll never be your lady There’s an ocean we can’t cross So much fear, so much breaking So much love and such a loss But when you come home at night It won’t be me It won’t be me It won’t be me who holds you tight And it makes me wanna cry And wanna love And wanna die Because without you nothing’s right Oh, well, well, listen to me, baby Our love is like gold Just like gold from the mine I hope I made you happy And that you’ll think of us sometimes And I know when you go home at night, I know It won’t be me It won’t be me who holds you tight And it makes me wanna cry And wanna love And wanna die Because without you nothing’s right Because without you nothing’s right” Souvenir d’un petit live de “your lady” avec les merveilleux @tao.70 et @albindelasimone pour #m6musiclivesession Have a good day my friends 🎼🌹🎼
