We’ve been taught to believe that powerful antioxidant support has to come in an expensive bottle, but sometimes the simplest foods can give our bodies incredible support. Take cloves versus a glutathione supplement: glutathione is often marketed as the ultimate antioxidant, but your body already has its own sophisticated glutathione system, and simply taking more in supplement form isn’t the only way to support it. Cloves, meanwhile, are incredibly rich in antioxidant plant compounds like eugenol that help combat oxidative stress and support a healthy inflammatory response. I’m not saying a clove is a replacement for glutathione supplementation when there’s a specific clinical reason for it, but I AM saying we shouldn’t overlook the power of food. Before assuming better health requires another supplement, look at the everyday foods and spices that can help support the antioxidant systems your body already knows how to use ☕
You, me, and New York this Christmas? ❄️✈️ 🎄🎅#TheTrillionaireLife Two seats on a private jet, walks beneath the city lights, and nowhere to rush as the snow falls. From festive windows to Central Park wrapped in white, this is the kind of December worth sharing with someone special. #newyorkcity #newyork #christmas privatejet

It’s been 14 months since my wonderful friend & hair stylist @m0rganrhodes first cut my disastrous chemo hair into the shortest of pixie crops. Here we are now with what looks like a mop on my head, ready to cut my hair into something that may stay for a while and isn’t an ‘interim’ cut. What a road it’s been; slowly getting back to feeling confident in my skin again. Thanks so much Morgan for your time & care on this road. You are an artist in your field. You’ve given me so much strength at times when I felt very broken and small :) Feeling very lucky & blessed, H xxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #chemotherapy #breastcancer #hairregrowth

How does Left 4 Dead always know the exact moment to throw a horde at you? It's called the AI Director, and it isn't machine learning at all. Mike Booth, the guy who wrote the Counter-Strike bot, built it out of hand-written rules. Every survivor has a hidden intensity score that goes up when you get hurt and slowly drains when nothing's attacking you, and the Director watches whoever's most stressed. When that score peaks it pulls the zombies back and lets you breathe, and once everyone has calmed down it starts building the next wave, usually from behind you and never somewhere you can see them spawn. According to Booth's GDC talk, the point was never to make the game harder, just to control the pacing. Follow for more tech explained in 2 minutes.
