๐Ÿคฏ 14K SATELLITE TRAILS! ๐Ÿ›ฐ๏ธ (NOT AI!) This is the most time-consuming photo edit I've EVER done! I left my camera photographing the night sky over Mt Taranaki for nearly TWO HOURS, capturing 578 photographs. The result? An estimated 14,450 satellite trail appearances, representing approximately 1,400 individual satellites! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I manually masked in EVERY SINGLE TRAIL from the original photographs โ€” approximately 45 HOURS of editing to create this one image! ๐Ÿ”ฆ Those tiny lights on the mountain are TWO mountaineers descending Mt Taranaki in the darkness over nearly two hours! ๐ŸŽฅ COMING TOMORROW: The timelapse and behind-the-scenes footage showing how I captured it! Did you realise there was this much satellite activity in our night skies? ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ“ Norfolk, Taranaki, New Zealand ๐Ÿ“… 9 September 2026 | 8:18 pm โ€“ 10:13 pm ๐Ÿ“ท Canon EOS R | Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 โš™๏ธ 8 sec | f/2 | ISO 6400 | 578 exposures โœจ Real sky โ€ข Real place โ€ข Real moment โœจ ยฉ Brendan Larsen Photography Sharing via my page is encouraged โ€” please don't download or reuse without permission. #CaptureTheAtlas #Astrophotography #SatelliteTrails #MtTaranaki #Taranaki #NewZealandPhotography #NotAI
