In 2003, “Bring Me to Life” felt impossible to escape. It was blasting from car stereos, MTV, rock radio, movie soundtracks, and every music channel you could think of. Evanescence brought a darker, emotional sound into the mainstream, and the song became an anthem for an entire generation. Amy Lee’s haunting vocals, the unforgettable piano intro, and the explosive chorus made it one of the defining rock songs of the decade. More than 20 years later, it still fills arenas, dominates playlists, and gives listeners chills. Some songs become hits. This one became a piece of music history. 🖤

I didn't think this song was anything special when it was popular. I thought "Damnation" from Opeth was way better and should have gotten more airplay than it did, if any at all
