Our baby girl turned 1 yesterday 🩷

A year ago, I received the best birthday gift I could’ve ever asked for, our beautiful Alaia Joy, the light of our lives. This past year has been the most beautiful year we could’ve ever experienced. For those who don’t know, I had the most traumatic pregnancy. At just 7 weeks pregnant, I was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum. For 9 months, up until the moment I gave birth, I threw up multiple times a day, I lost 30lbs throughout my pregnancy & had multiple ultrasounds and doctors appointments every week. Baby girl was in the second percentile, and weighed only 5lbs at birth.

When I look back at my pregnancy, and how our lives have changed since having her, I would do it over and over again if it meant having her in our lives. She has changed us in the best possible ways and has given our life a new meaning. Thank you God for our beautiful baby girl and for giving us the strength to make it through our first year as parents.

Happy 1st birthday to our baby girl. Before I ever held you, I loved you, and every day since you’ve been here, my heart has grown even bigger. There is nothing in this world I wouldn’t do for you. You are my greatest joy, my greatest blessing, and the love of my life. No words will ever be enough to describe how deeply I love you. 🩷
