🌿 Desi Amla Singhdana Tadka Chutney 🌿 comment down to get all my Amla recipes in one place. It’s a pdf containing different delicious ways to include Amla in your diet♥️ super helpful 🤌 A little tangy, a little spicy, beautifully crunchy, and full of fresh flavours! ❤️ This is my desi-style amla chutney, made with fresh amla, roasted singdana, crushed garlic, fresh herbs, and a sizzling mustard oil tadka! 🌿 It’s a delicious way to incorporate seasonal amla into your meals without having to eat it plain or drink it as a shot. And the best part? It’s not just about vitamin C! This chutney brings together healthy fats, fibre, antioxidants, and plenty of flavour in every spoonful. Here’s something I absolutely love about adding amla to a desi thali! 🌿 Amla is naturally rich in vitamin C, which helps your body absorb non-heme iron (the type of iron found in plant foods) more efficiently. So, when you pair this chutney with your everyday dal, legumes, leafy greens, or other iron-rich vegetarian meals, you’re not just adding flavour, you’re also helping your body make better use of the iron on your plate! ❤️ 🌿 Every ingredient brings something to the table! 🟢 Amla: Rich in vitamin C and polyphenols; supports collagen formation, immune function, and plant-based iron absorption. 🥜 Roasted singdana (peanuts): Provides heart-friendly unsaturated fats, plant protein, fibre, and vitamin E. 🧄 Garlic: Crushing raw garlic activates the formation of allicin, a beneficial sulfur compound with antimicrobial and potential heart-health benefits. Since we’re not cooking the garlic, more of this heat-sensitive compound can be preserved 🧅 Onion: Provides quercetin, an antioxidant flavonoid, along with prebiotic fibres. 🍅 Tomatoes: Contain lycopene, a carotenoid with antioxidant properties. 🌱 Coriander & mint: Add flavour, small amounts of micronutrients, and beneficial plant compounds. 🌶️ Green chillies: Contribute vitamin C and capsaicin, along with that lovely spicy kick. 🌿 Mustard oil: Provides unsaturated fats and adds that unmistakable pungent desi flavour. 🍋 Lemon: Adds another little boost of vitamin C, supporting iron absorption.
The New York Giants might have finally found their franchise quarterback… McCarthy wasted absolutely NO TIME making his presence felt. Entering the game against the New Orleans Saints in the FOURTH QUARTER, McCarthy reportedly put together one of the most explosive performances of the 2026 NFL season. In less than one quarter of action: • 243 passing yards • 26 rushing yards • 1 passing touchdown • 1 interception What makes this even crazier is that McCarthy finished as the Giants’ LEADING PASSER AND RUSHER despite not entering the game until the final quarter. His 243 passing yards were also the MOST by any quarterback in the fourth quarter of a game this season, surpassing Matthew Stafford, Joe Burrow, and Jared Goff. After an uncertain start to his NFL career, McCarthy could be getting the fresh start he needed in New York. Have the Giants finally found their franchise QB, or is it too early to crown JJ McCarthy? JJ in less than one quarter of action: • 243 passing yards • 26 rushing yards • 1 passing touchdown • 1 interception What makes this even crazier is that McCarthy finished as the Giants’ LEADING PASSER AND RUSHER despite not entering the game until the final quarter.
