What a great way to spend a cool summers night! Took my best friend down to good ole Port Glasgow Friday night to spend the night fishing the pier. Fished from about 8 til about 930 the next morning. The catching was pretty solid until about 730 or 8 when the wind picked up a bit and got the lake rollin.

Felt bad for some of the boats as I heard it was pretty hairy out further and some smaller vessels had to cut their trips short due to "chumming".

As an added bonus even got to see some friends like Thomas Lewis, and Stan Gibbs. Also saw a few people i know go by on their boats but they didn't come out to the pier to say hi. Was also joined by our buddy Fishy ( Mike Howard) and his family for a few hours.

All in all a great trip, and I think it's safe to say Cody Newhook had a good birthday

Didn't keep track of numbers but species caught were; white perch, yellow perch, bowfin, rock bass, channel catfish, bullhead catfish, walleye, and of course Fresh Water Drum. Fish were caught on a mix of baits, including worms, shiners, and uncooked shrimp.
