Florida state Rep. Angie Nixon addressed a rain-soaked, energetic crowd of roughly 2,000 people (our estimate, based on seeing the courtyard packed with approximately 4,000 for concerts) at the Cuban Club courtyard Saturday afternoon, as she was joined in Ybor City by Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Democrats hope Nixon, who was outspent 16-to-1 in her resounding primary victory, can defeat appointed U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody.

With a stump speech built around uplifting the working class and making sure hardworking people don't have to suffer to put food on the table or get proper healthcare, Nixon—a single mom for 12 years and small business owner—implored supporters to talk to their friends and neighbors to get out the vote before the general election ends on Nov. 3.

Early voting in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties runs Oct. 19-Nov. 1. The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is no later than 5 p.m. on the 12th day before the election—Oct. 22. The voter registration deadline for November’s general election has passed.

Look for more photos, coverage, and CL’s general election ballot guide in the coming days.

Comment BACKDAY and I'll DM you my full back day, free. It's the exact back day out of my HC Gives You Wings program, and a chest supported machine row is exercise 2 on the list.

Derek wanted to know what I'm thinking about when I row for more lats. I'm not thinking back. Think back and it ends up as more rear delt. I'm thinking down and around.

Before the rep even starts, pull the lats down. Keep them down as you stretch out, and keep them down as you pull. Then finish like you're trying to wrap your elbows around toward the base of your hips. That keeps the upper arm tucked tight at your side the whole way.

Two things so nobody gets the wrong idea. It's a bias, not a switch: your whole upper back is still working on any row, and I'm not trying to keep it out of it. And where you finish is going to look a little different for everybody. Derek's lats are so big that his version is just "pull until your triceps smash into your lats." Mr. Olympia problems.

Comment BACKDAY, the workout hits your DMs, and ask me your back training questions below. I'll answer them.

Ну вот скажите ещё, что не работает 😏✈️

It’s finally Friday!!

I’m so excited to introduce you to this new character. She’s mysterious and layered, and I just love how she turned out.

Tell me what you think! Any guesses on what role she might play in Outer World?

Thanks again, @polarts_iv, for another incredible piece of art 🤍
