Sign up in bio. Four Chun-Lis in under two years, and Hollywood was last. We watched City Hunter on Monday and we still don’t know what we saw. Jackie gets knocked into an arcade cabinet, the fight turns into Street Fighter II played by real people in costume, and he works his way through the roster until he’s Chun-Li in the buns and spiked bracelets. The director Wong Jing then made a whole unofficial Street Fighter adaptation the same year. Future Cops gives you two at once: Kingdom Yuen as “Mrs. Chun” in the red version with the gold boots, and HK mainstay Chingmy Yau as her daughter Chun May, and they team up towards the end. So the 1994 Jean-Claude Van Damme adaptation was actually THIRD up to bat, with Ming-Na Wen. NEXT UP: TROLL 2 - OCTOBER 29 - @cliftonsla Tickets in bio @streetfightermovie @kitao_sakurai @legendary @capcomusa Featured: City Hunter, Wong Jing (1993) · Future Cops, Wong Jing (1993) · Street Fighter, Steven E. de Souza (1994)
This is nostalgic! 🥹 I’ve been assembling my Mom’s apple tree centerpiece on the eve of Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. She has an Apple cone she purchased in the 80’s but since those are harder to come by I thought it would be fun to try my hand at a sugared version! Here’s what I used 👇🏼 24” Foam Cone: Found at Michael’s and even better if you can find a green one! I cut a little bit off the top for a flat top. Sugared Fruit: I found cheap ornaments from Hobby Lobby and removed the hanging piece. Pinecones: Secured with florist pick & wire Toothpicks Magnolia leaves and Holly from the yard!
