Sometimes we get sent a photo or video where we know we have to drop everything immediately and go and save the dog, and that was very much the case with this boy. It actually involved a trip on a ferry and a massive 8-hour drive to the mainland but we simply knew that we had to bring him in. The team @wearehappydoggo swung into action with an early start and great skill to ensure he could be surrendered to us to care for him. I can't explain how gentle he is and how he allowed the vet team to do absolutely anything we wanted to him today to try and get him better. He's a gentle soul but he really does feel a little bit broken. I'm very hopeful that, with lots of love, great food, medicine, and patience, we'll be able to turn this older gentleman's life around. I decided to call him Frank because one day I hope to see him build up into a big boy that is healthy and bouncing around. Then I'll be able to call him his full name, which is Frank the Tank. Won't be easy and he has a tricky few days and even weeks ahead but he's now in the right place, sleeping and on a drip. Hopefully we'll be able to turn him into a wonderful dog that has a new happy life ❤️
