¿Te acuerdas cuando creías que todo tenía un ritmo?
Que hasta los errores sonaban bien
si sabías poner delay.
Ahora le bajas el volumen a todo antes de que suene.
No por miedo,
Por costumbre.

2PAC MEETS WHITNEY HOUSTON & BIGGIE'S WIFE FAITH EVANS AGAIN 👀

🗓️ 31 YEARS AGO TODAY: Just 4 days out, Pac meets the legendary & iconic Whitney Houston and crosses paths with Faith Evans again at Arista's Waiting to Exhale affair at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

👀 WHITNEY HOUSTON’S WARNING TO 2PAC:
Whitney: "Baby, you got to promise me something. Don’t let them get you."
Pac: "I won’t."

📖 BACKSTORY:
"The next night was the party for the release of the Waiting To Exhale, soundtrack. As soon as we pulled up, my cell phone rung. "What's up Faith? Where you at?" It was Tupac. I told him I was at the Waiting To Exhale party. He said, "I'm here, too! I looked out the car window, and there he was. He made a bee line for the car, opened up the door and jumped in the backseat with us. I wasn't planning on hanging out with Pac. I introduced him to my friend and we chatted until it was time to hit the red carpet. When we got inside the venue, I found our table and sat down. I was just starting to get comfortable when Pac slid into a chair next to me and Nicci."

"He was acting like he was going to sit there for the rest of the night. Tupac eventually left our table and was mingling. After the party ended, we went outside to our limo and Tupac was standing there. "Where ya'll going now?" "We're going to a party at the Peninsula hotel," I said quickly. He said, "That's where I'm staying!" I'll catch a ride over there with ya'll. "

"Tupac jumped in the limo and stretched out, making himself comfortable. Now, I was definitely feeling weird. After the party at the hotel, we hung out a bit more with Tupac and his friends, shared a blunt and discussed specifics on my guest appearance."

✍🏼 EXCERPT: "Keep the Faith: A Memoir"

🎵 AFTER THE PARTY:
Following their encounter at the Peninsula, Pac & Faith hit Can-Am Studios and laid down three iconic tracks "Wonda Why They Call U Bytch" (Death Row version) along with "Skandalouz" and "All Bout U". Faith's vocals were ultimately scrapped after her label blocked the release. Obviously.

One of the biggest mistakes I see hairdressers make?

Saying YES when they should be saying NO.

And I get it, you’re worried about losing the client, disappointing them or having that uncomfortable conversation.

But a good consultation isn’t about agreeing with everything. It’s about educating your client, setting realistic expectations and creating a plan that actually works.

I promise you now , your consultation is the most important part for not only there experience but for yours ! Setting yourself up to do the best job as the hairdresser you are and I want to make sure you feel set up!! 🥹

I’ve created a FREE consultation template to help you do exactly that.

Comment CONSULT and I’ll send it straight to you 🤍
