HU Staff: Kecia Gayle @kecia.kae The Washington Commanders receiver is pushing back on a lawsuit that paints him out to be the man behind a Florida beatdown, and his legal team says the other side has shown absolutely nothing to back it up. ___________________________________________________ In court papers obtained by TMZ, Stefon Diggs argued that Mr. Nigel King, who is suing him for defamation, has offered no evidence that he told anyone to attack King on December 4, 2025. ___________________________________________________ As we previously reported, Mr. King says he provides travel and logistics services for wealthy clients, Diggs among them, and that he helped coordinate moving the player’s Ferrari from Miami to New York in July 2024. But according to his suit, strangers stole the car, and Diggs then pointed the finger at him. King says he was never charged, cited or named as a suspect, but claimed Diggs spread false claims linking him to the theft.
