June was an odd reading month for me. I did explore a new genre, though, so I guess go me?

Kasha Thompson's Figure of Speech took me through all the feels. I was curious, irritated, confused, touched, frustrated, and happy. I first became acquainted with Thompson's writing in May with Jamaal the IT Guy. So I knew I'd enjoy the humor in this romance set against a DC politics backdrop.

I also read the Match My Nasty duology, and I was glad there were only two books. I didn't DNF either one, so I guess a win is a win, right? I'll keep it a buck; I did need a break, which is where Figure of Speech came in. Just keep in mind that what didn't work for me may be a delight for you.

در این ویدیوی پربازدید، این حیوان احساساتی دیده می‌شود که نمی‌تواند از مردی که او را بزرگ کرده و سال‌ها از او مراقبت کرده دور بماند و دوباره به سمتش می‌دود. این لحظه تأثیرگذار، خیلی زود دل بینندگان را به درد آورد؛ چرا که به نظر می‌رسید این گاو وابستگی عمیقی به صاحبش دارد؛ پیوندی که فراتر از کلمات بود.
