How I got the name “Connor Pugs” online

You crack on, wipe up, clear up and brush it off - “I‘ll be with you in a sec.” You clear a table, pick up a mug, tuck someone up, lay down a mat and check if anyone else needs a drink. “Just carry on without me.”

For all the sheer joy of parenting - and nothing can take away cuddling up with my kids watching Bluey ♥️ - the mental load is real. And yes, every single woman I know is working.

And to be clear, the expectation of a woman working a 40-hour week and coming back to the above without having a breakdown at some point is equally not realistic. Huge love to all working mothers, however you are navigating it ♥️

Happy Thursday 🎉

**the Office for National Statistics has found women shoulder 40% more housework and childcare annually, with that ramping up around Christmas and birthdays.**
