Week one of the Come Worship! Tour, and my heart is so full. 🤍 Night after night, we’ve watched thousands of people come together with one purpose: to lift up the name of Jesus. So thankful to be sharing these nights with @charity_gayle, @redworship_, and @iamterrian. And we’re just getting started. I can’t wait to worship with YOU! 🙌🏾

Say you’re a guy who reads WIRED—you know a thing or two about artificial intelligence. You recognize the names of well-known people developing AI, like OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. But do you know who Mira Murati is? What about Susan Milner? Craig Dalton? In a new survey of more than 5,400 Americans, 73 percent of male respondents told Harvard researchers they knew who Altman was. A little over half—53 percent—said they knew of Murati, Milner, and Dalton. There’s one problem. Murati is a real person: she’s the former CTO of OpenAI and the current CEO of Thinking Machine Labs. Milner and Dalton, on the other hand, do not exist. Compared to women, “we're seeing that men are more optimistic and more confident” across the board when it comes to AI, Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center executive director Laura Manley tells WIRED. Sometimes, that veers into overconfidence—like claiming to recognize fictional AI executives. (For context, 40 percent of women claimed to know who Milner and Dalton were; 38 percent said they recognized Murati.) While Manley notes that men are more overconfident in general when surveyed, the report, published on Wednesday, digs into what the confidence gap on AI looks like, as well as the repercussions of gendered divides. For years, I knew something was wrong with my body. I went from doctor to doctor, trying to explain the pain and symptoms that were taking over my life, only to be told that nothing was wrong. Eventually, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS. Endometriosis meant surgery. I underwent excision surgery in 2023 to remove the disease tissue growing inside my body after years of pain and unanswered questions. It was a major moment in my life, both physically and emotionally. I finally had an explanation for what I had been experiencing, but surgery wasn’t the end of my health journey. Despite treatment, lifestyle changes, and continuing to search for answers, my symptoms persisted. The pain began affecting my entire body. Eventually, I was diagnosed with lupus, a serious autoimmune disease that can affect multiple organs and become life-threatening. Research has found associations between endometriosis and certain autoimmune diseases, including lupus, although we still have much to learn about why these conditions overlap. Living through this has made me think deeply about women’s health, the effects of chronic illness on the body, and how much we still don’t understand. Too many women are taught to normalize debilitating pain instead of being given answers, support, and appropriate care. I know how isolating it feels to fight for answers while trying to keep your life moving. I also know how fortunate I am to have a supportive family and access to medical care. Not everyone has those resources, and that is one of the reasons this matters so much to me. I used to think I’d wait until I had my health figured out before sharing my story. But I don’t want to wait for a perfect ending to start a conversation that needs to be happening now. I’m incredibly grateful to be getting involved with the Endometriosis Foundation and to contribute to the work being done around endometriosis awareness and women’s reproductive health. I’m excited to share more soon. For now, I wanted to start by sharing an overview of my story, because no woman should have to fight this hard to be heard. 💛
