Updates on a bunch of stuff
Rumored and rendered. Next Audi A8. I’d heard A8/S8 production for the U.S. market had continued to this month. With Neckarsulm slated for closure, the current believe is that A8 moves to Leipzig for Porsche to produce, shifting to the MSB platform that underpins the Panamera and Bentley Continental series cars. While I hate to see ASF go away, this probably makes sense. An A8 on that architecture would likely do well and not be as expensive to produce. I’ve created some renderings to visualize such a car, leaning heavily on the new design language from the Concept C and the Nuvolari. Full story on my site linked in bio and in stories. #audi #audia8
