The first ABF Global Gathering brought together children and young people from different countries and cultures for ten days in Tuscany and Rome. But it was never meant to be an end in itself. ABF Voices Of continues today in the places they returned to, where the choirs are back to their everyday routines. In Italy, Haiti, the Holy Land and Uganda, rehearsals have started again. The children and young people work with their music teachers and educators, share their daily lives, and gradually build trust and discipline. They are also learning to listen to one another. This is where the project finds its true meaning: not on grand stages, but in the everyday work. Now the project is taking another important step: auditions have begun, welcoming new members into the choirs. Every voice carries a story, a heritage and a hope. That was the idea behind the first Global Gathering. Knowing that more stories will soon become part of ours is a wonderful sign that the project is growing, while continuing to care for everyone involved.
