Many nights before I preach, I sit alone and wonder if I’m the right person for this.

Not as false humility.

As a genuine question.

Who am I to stand up and tell people about God?

I know what I’ve done.

I know where I’ve been.

I know the version of me that existed before any of this.

And sometimes that version feels closer than it should.

The doubt comes quietly.

Usually right before I’m about to do something that matters.

That’s not a coincidence.

The enemy doesn’t show up when you’re doing nothing.

He shows up when you’re about to do something he can’t afford to let happen.

And I’ve had to learn to recognise that.

The doubt isn’t a sign I’m the wrong person.

It’s a sign I’m in the right place.

Because God doesn’t call the qualified.

He qualifies the called.

And I am living proof of that.

Not because I deserve this platform.

Because He decided to use it anyway.

Moses told God he couldn’t speak.

David was the youngest son nobody considered.

Paul was killing Christians before God redirected him.

None of them were the obvious choice.

Neither am I.

And that’s exactly the point.

1 Corinthians 1:27 says, “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.”

The weak things.

The foolish things.

The ones nobody would have picked.

That’s who God uses.

So I sit with the doubt.

And then I get up and preach anyway.

Because it was never about me being ready.

It was always about Him being enough.

I built the Core of the Heart app to help you stay rooted in what God says about you even on the days you doubt it.

Daily devotionals. Real Scripture. Hours of video teachings.

Plus instant answers rooted in Scripture with GospelBot.

If you’re doubting whether God can use someone like you, comment MENTORSHIP and I’ll send you the link.
