I’m incredibly honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Michigan. First, I’d like to thank my parents, brother, all of my teammates on NCAC, and my coaches for their constant support. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. I’d also like to give a special thank you to Coach Brown, Coach DeSelm, and Coach Watts for always believing in me and helping me become the person and swimmer that I am today. Finally, none of this would’ve been possible without Coach Matt, Coach Priscilla, and the entire coaching staff at the University of Michigan. I am incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity, and I cannot wait to be a Michigan Wolverine! GO BLUE!! 〽️💙

Rams Old Kicker Harrison Mevis • 6’0”, 245 lbs. Rams New Kicker Blake Grupe • 5’7”, 156 lbs. A massive change in LA. Harrison Mevis went from having the opportunity to be the hero to getting CUT by the Los Angeles Rams after their heartbreaking 37-34 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills. Mevis missed a 50-yard field goal earlier in the game before having his potential game-winning 48-yard attempt blocked in overtime. After everything Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense did to keep Los Angeles alive, watching their kicker fail to deliver in such a massive moment was absolutely brutal. What makes this situation even crazier is how quickly everything fell apart for Mevis. Just last season, he was making clutch kicks and helping the Rams win important games, but this year has been a completely different story. He made just five of his nine field goal attempts through five games, and Sean McVay made it clear after Monday night’s loss that the kicking situation wasn’t good enough. Less than a day later, reports emerged that the Rams were moving on from him. The NFL is genuinely a ruthless business, especially when you’re a kicker. One moment you’re being celebrated for winning games, and the next you’re looking for another team because you couldn’t deliver when it mattered most. Mevis certainly wasn’t the only reason Los Angeles lost, but his struggles became impossible to ignore. The Rams reportedly decided to bring in Blake Grupe, officially signaling that they had seen enough. Follow US (@jukedly) to stay locked in if you love sports! 🔥
