People expect a Moroccan girl
to fit into a perfect box before marriage.

They watch every single step
and assume any freedom
means you are not ready.

Or that you do not respect tradition.

Growing up in Morocco,
weddings carry so much weight.
Everyone has an opinion on how you should act.

Moving here taught me
that entering a new chapter
does not mean losing who you are.

You can honor your roots
without hiding who you have become.
