🇺🇿 A Talgo in Uzbekistan? Yes that’s right!

The Uzbekistan Railways operate a fleet of 6 Talgo 250 trains branded as ‘Afrosiyob’

These trains can reach speeds of up to 250km/h and are based on the similar Renfe S130 🇪🇸

The services connect the capital of Taskent with Samarkand, and the cities of Qarshi, Bukhara, and Jiva. 🚄

Did you know about these Spanish trains in Uzbekistan? 💬

I took this train when in Uzbekistan. Three classes, Business, 1st and 2nd. The comfort in business class is rather good. I found two issues: - The train is shaking a lot - it is noisy May be is it my approach, I am used to the French TGV/Eurostar(old and new), but was expecting a travel on board a high end quality train, which is not the case. It fits the purpose anyway, offering much quicker connections than the regular local trains or buses.
