It’s officially live.
Slices of the Game is now available on Amazon.
I never meant to write a book.
Much like I never meant to open a gym.
Both came from the same place:
A love for basketball.
A lot of questions.
A lot of mistakes.
A lot of learning.
And a desire to give back to a game that has given me so much.
This book is the result of years in the gym, conversations with coaches, experiments that worked, experiments that failed, and lessons I wish I understood much earlier.
I wrote it for the coaches trying to close the gap between practice and the game.
For the ones who care deeply about their craft.
For the ones who want to design better learning environments, not just run more drills.
For the ones willing to experiment, reflect, adapt, and keep learning.
At its core, Slices of the Game is about helping players solve the problems the game actually presents.
Not chasing perfect drills.
Not copying one “right” way.
But creating environments where decisions, perception, adaptability, creativity, and skill can emerge.
On a deeper level, this book is also for my kids.
I want them to see that no matter where you start, you can chase what you love.
You can build.
You can create.
You can serve.
You can do meaningful work if you’re willing to keep showing up.
Basketball changed my life.
This book is one small way of trying to give something back.

From research to REPS.
Train for the game, not the drill.
