Autumn rituals: how I put the greenhouse to bed 🍂
AD| l’m always pulled back into the greenhouse at this time of year. To tidy away the last of the summer crops and to bring in the pelargoniums. I like to escape for a bit of me time, light a little candle at the same time each afternoon and relax.
Afternoon tea in the greenhouse has become the ritual I look forward to most, with @ancientandbrave True Collagen stirred into my mug. Type 1 hydrolysed peptides, tasteless so it just dissolves - my daily ritual to support my whole body as we head into winter.
Small rituals, done with intention 🤎 What’s the ritual you’re holding onto right now?

Could an influx of newcomers help turn Texas blue? Ahead of tonight’s midterm results, Brut.’s Texas-based journalist Skyler Hurt spoke with a Texas resident who believes people moving from liberal cities could help tip the balance toward Democrats.

Texas gained roughly 607,000 residents through net migration from other states between 2021 and 2023, more than double the approximately 291,000 recorded between 2017 and 2019.

Texas has not elected a Democrat to statewide office since 1994, though the 2018 Senate race was decided by about 2.6 percentage points. This year, voters are choosing a governor, a U.S. senator and other state and congressional representatives.
