Getting back to my roots.
I was born and raised in this music
Poetry is where I started
My heart's been heavy with pain
But I got to finish what I started
Positive poetry freestyle and get it popping on a Tuesday
Everyday you wake up, you get the opportunity. It's a new day
They just don't call me Soul kid just because I sang
No music's in my soul and in my heart
I let it ring
So once a week just to ease the mind
I'm going to drop one of these
straight off the mind
It's pure and ready to go now .
