Pics & videos of me being moved to tears this past weekend. My dads birthday was Saturday the 11th. I played at the farmhouse as I have many times, but this weekend i was thinking back on all the songs we shared on this stage. He was an awesome harmonica player and huge live music supporter. He also loved bagpipes. So how crazy that my lil Scottish self got treated to the Maine-grown Dunlap Highland Band when they stopped in for some pizzas after their own gig & started ripping. They even let me stand in the middle as they played Amazing Grace, and it was one of the most spectacular musical moments I’ve ever experienced. The phone mic does not do it justice. Thank you lads and lassie for calling down my father’s spirit on one of the days I needed it most.
